CK Leather Bands

Christopher Kearns reimagines the beauty, power and complexity of wildlife through leather working. He finds inspiration in the great outdoors and the places he frequents, top among them being Grand Teton National Park & Jackson Hole, WY.

Leaving these places filled with awe and appreciation, he translates his inspiration into handcrafted leather hat bands. Images from his memory emerge as he uses a scalpel to intricately carve into leather and adds detail with layers of acrylic paint. Each piece is uniquely handcrafted to commemorate our encounters with wildlife and the awe of natural environments.
